Hey everyone! Mod here. It's been forever since you guys heard anything from us and I apologize about that. I have been under serious pressure from school. I just wanted everyone to know that the other Mods and I have decided to shut this community down. With the boys lives taking new directions we thought it would be for the best. I know that there are still plenty of fans out there, so if anyone wants to take over they can comment here and we'll dicuss it. :D If I haven't heard from anyone by tomorrow night though, I'm going to go ahead and close.
Regardless, I wanted to thank everyone who made this community a lot of fun! There have been plenty of good times. :D

Due to the recent news from Hunter and Damon we thought it would be best to clarify a few things. Even though the boys have broken up the community will stay open. This may change at a later date, but for now we see no reason to close.
While we still encourage all of your squeeful entries about the boys and thier work please refrain from posting speculation about thier break up. We ask that all members do not email the boys about the break up as they requested.
I think that most of us are very sad that they broke up but please remember that we want a positive community and please remember that posts speculating about the why's of it all will be deleted.
We're still fans, of course, and fans are supportive.
And on that note: Did you see the photo of Hunter?!?!! *squeee*

Ahhhh.. .Finally.
I get some time to myself! XD
I'm at work, for now, but I'm leaving here to get my tax done at midday.
I plan on going home after getting it done and watching a DVD.

Hello,
Perhaps some of you have already read this on my blog, for those of you who haven't, I'm sorry to have to tell you that the Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification has moved to stop the screenings of DAMON AND HUNTER at QueerDOC this September.
The OFLC ruling means that DAMON AND HUNTER cannot be shown in a cinema, nor can it be shown by health clinics or community education organizations, or even kept on their library shelves. In fact, according to the OFLC, the only place that DAMON AND HUNTER may be legal viewed outside of one's home is in a video booth in a sex shop in the Canberra District. Any other screenings are a violation of Australian law, punishable by up to a year in jail and a $20,000 fine.

Just doing a quick post here. My apologies for not being around much the last couple of weeks. I've been really sick with the flu, which has now degraded into a long-term cold and it's been causing me much greif.

****DAMON AND HUNTER INVITED TO SCREEN AT QUEERDOC IN SYDNEY
AUSTALIA****
With the time shift (+14 hours) we were hearing about DAMON AND
HUNTER's Tuesday night screening while it was still Tuesday morning in New
York. There was much spontaneous dancing throughout the rest of the day,
which broke into a full-scale conga line that evening when a note (sent
Wednesday morning Australian time) came from the programmer of QueerDOC
-- the world's only documentary film festival focusing on queer (gay,
lesbian transgender, transsexual, intersex etc.) documentary films.
Would we consent to having DAMON AND HUNTER screened at QueerDOC this
September in Sydney? Would we? Would we ever!
We don't have our time slot yet, but sometime between Sept. 7 and Sept.
10, DAMON AND HUNTER will show at the Palace Academy Twin Cinema, 3a
Oxford Street, Paddington, Sydney AU. The minute we know more, you'll
know more!

Congratulations TC and Peggy, the premiere was a great success! When we first arrived we could barely get in the door, when we did manage to squeeze in, the Glitch Bar lounge was abuzz with a lovely sense of anticipation. The crowd milled around chatting and drinking before making a rush for the cinema entrance when it was announced that Damon and Hunter would be commencing. The programmer wisely decided to screen Damon and Hunter first, looking at me and saying when I asked him if that was a good thing to do given that the double billing on the offical program was that it would show second - "That's what these people (making an expansive gesture to the crowd) have come to see!" And indeed they had!
There were too many people for one session so another in the adjacent cinema was hastily convened – thanks to the quick thinking Eugene! I had another disc with me so within minutes we had two screenings underway.
The film looked amazing on the big screen, lush and clear and bright where it needed to be and soft and warm where it counted. Those two handsome boys had the audience charmed within a few moments and kept them that way- there was laughing in all the right places, and lots of nodding in agreement when Damon or Hunter touched on a topic that struck a chord. And there were plenty of those moments – somehow I’d forgotten how quietly humorous and sympathetic they are as a couple. One gent I chatted with called Damon and Hunter “endearing” and the film “uplifting, easy to watch and very erotic." There was a lot of cooing about how cute the boys were and how very engaging the interview was. (People said a lot of very nice things – I’ll put that in my blog report.)
To be honest I was a tiny bit anxious about how people would respond to the explicitness. Would they be shocked and if they were what would happen then? Other than my own rather naïve surprise and delight at just how big everything looks on a cinema screen no one seemed shocked at the lack of coy angles or fade to black. I haven’t been amongst a crowd watching sex happening on a big screen before but oddly it felt just fine, more than fine – there was that weird magic when a group of people becomes an audience sharing a common experience and it felt quite natural and right to be watching those two men do their beautiful thing up there, larger than life.
It was a wonderful night, one at which I was completely honoured and delighted to be representing and caretaking Tony and Peggy's lovely film. Of course the only regret was that the Comstocks couldn't be there in person and that I wasn't able to meet any of the folks from here, but I have a feeling we'll be seeing Damon and Hunter on the big screen again before too long.

Finally! After it getting lost and having to be resent (and my undying thanks to the Comstock people for the help - apparently stuff got lost that week, including the one for me in Denmark) I finally got Doing it together this Friday. Now, I was very busy organising the Patronus conference, so it wasn't until last night I had a chance to sit down and actually watch it.
It was a highly enjoyable experience :-) I can't decide if I liked the interview part of the actual lovemaking the best, since both were wonderful. It was nice to see that the guys have a lot of good thoughts on sex in general, most of which I agree with. They are also very cute in the way they interact and look at each other, it's nice to see people in love like that.
I will skip going into detail with the more explicit stuff since I'd like this post to be unlocked, but suffice to say it's very hot and I definitely liked it. Recommendable, indeed.
So now that I've ranted, can someone tell me what happened in Melbourne yesterday? We're dying to know, dammit! ;-) At least, this modly being is...!
